Sit in the front porch swing & rocking chairs of Aunt Dobson's place, and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and beautiful sunsets. During the day, take advantage of the nearby activities in Franklin, North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountain area.

This renovated historic 100 year old farmhouse is rich in history. Nestled on 66 rolling acres, and located minutes from Franklin, NC in a rural setting, the farmhouse overlooks beautiful Patton Valley in the Great Smoky Mountains. Other than restoration work on the house, the property is much as it has always been located in a timeless setting two miles from the quaint, picturesque town of Franklin. The 66 scenic acres afford seclusion, privacy, and scenic mountain views. Although the setting is secluded, the area in and around Franklin affords many opportunities for activities. Visit this Franklin Chamber of Commerce site.

Enjoy viewing the wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife that abound. Dogwood, azaleas, and rhododendrons flower from April to July.

This historic two bedroom Dobson family home is completely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and a two gas fireplace in the living room and master bedroom. Linens are supplied weekly.

Three full double beds sleep up to six comfortably. There is a TV and DVD player.

Aunt Dobson's Farmhouse vacation cottage rental is listed with the Franklin Chamber of Commerce.
